Jeff Williams and his wife Amber form the band Texarkana who have been singing together for the past four years. As Amber's home state is Arkansas, and Jeff hails from Texas, Texarkana was a natural name selection that combined both of their backgrounds as they merged their unique vocal talents. While both Amber and Jeff have made a living in the music business for years, it was after hearing them sing together that Johnny Cash suggested to them that they have a wonderful and unique vocal blending that sets them apart from other duos or groups.
This powerful vocal duo has opened shows for the likes of Hayseed Dixie, John Carter Cash, Billy Don Burns, and many other entertainers. Jeff recently toured as lead guitarist for Hayseed Dixie on Dualtone Records. He currently runs Rivergate Studios in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and he has written songs for and recorded for people like Willie Nelson, John Carter Cash, Eddie Money, Johnny Paycheck, Ira Dean of Trick Pony, Mark Collie, Doctor Hook, Hank Cochran, as well as hundreds of rock and country bands, indie acts, and "hopeful" singers.
Jeff's distinguished background also includes a stint as leader of The Living Circle Band who counted Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, their son John Carter Cash, Laura Cash, and Dave Rowe as members. While touring with The Living Circle Band, Jeff appeared on several television shows including: The Late Show with David Letterman, The Donnie & Marie Show, Live With Regis & Cathy Lee, and the Grand Ole Opry.
