Have you ever wondered what it would be like to meet one of your biggest heroes? Not only did I get to meet Billy Powell, I became friends with him. He's one of the main reasons I do what I do. While I am deeply saddened over his passing, I know that heaven just got a lot cooler!

Billy, your legacy will live forever and I will always hold dear to my heart some of the piano lessons you gave me thru the years. Your secrets are safe!

The last thing Billy said to me a few weeks ago was "I love you, man." He walked on stage before I could respond. I say now what I'd give anything if I would have said then, "I love you too, brother!"
